Per 1 oktober 2025 is het boetebedrag van de Uitstel-van-Betaling (UVB) in het openbaar vervoer verhoogd van €50 naar €70. Hierdoor wordt het voor OV bedrijven aantrekkelijker om de opvolging zelf te verzorgen in plaats van deze te snel over te dragen aan het CJIB.
Met OVUVB.nl behouden vervoerders grip op het proces, verhogen ze de opbrengsten, hebben ze veel minder administratieve werkzaamheden en voldoen ze aan de richtlijnen voor een sociaal verantwoorde opvolging.
